Jumpstart Your Life

This program will aid residents of the city of Detroit in learning to read, increasing literacy skills, paid training for a new career, or getting hired in a new job.  This is designed to help those who experience frequent joblessness or challenges in a new, rapidly changing job market.

 

Earn While You Learn  

Participants will receive stipend payments while they are enrolled in the program to help as they learn to read, get their high school diploma or GED, receive training for a new career, as well as getting hired for new jobs.

​$100 Million Dollars in Scholarships  

$100 million in federal funding through the American Rescue Plan Act is available to provide residents with scholarships for job training opportunities.
